Basel Polychroma

A Basel poster for thoughtful interiors

Few cities balance cultural depth and riverfront ease quite like Basel. Whether you spent sunny afternoons drifting down the Rhine, crossed the historic Mittlere Brücke on a crisp morning, or lingered in the quiet shadow of the Basel Minster above Münsterplatz, this piece connects you back to the city. It traces the enduring dialogue between the elevated lanes of Grossbasel and the relaxed rhythm of Kleinbasel, following how urban density opens toward the water and folds into the leafy alleys of St. Alban.

In any room, this print acts as an evocative, sophisticated focal point. The artwork remains entirely without street names, letting the pure layout and geometry of the city speak directly to those familiar with its bridges and borders. Down in the lower right margin, the city name sits in subtle, widely letter-spaced capital letters, offering a quiet signature without disturbing the visual field.

Hang it above a desk, along an entryway gallery, or over a credenza to anchor a room with personal resonance. Each order is printed on heavy 280 gsm paper and is ready to ship in 2 to 3 business days, bringing a measured piece of the border city into your everyday living space.
